Literary Arts

The Literary Calendar at Davidson College annually presents 10-12 writers, often winners of Pulitzer Prizes, MacArthur “genius grants,” National Book Awards and various other honors. All writers brought to campus work with students personally; all public presentations are free. With a vital and active literary series, Davidson College is able to complement an excellent faculty of working writers, who all teach writing, and offers one of the finest undergraduate liberal arts experiences in creative writing available in the country. All events are in the C. Shaw Smith 900 Room of the Alvarez College Union (unless otherwise noted) and open to the public. For more information, please email Nancy Randazzo or call 704-894-2472.
